Henry Elwess is running the London Marathon for Alzheimer’s Society

Henry is running this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 26 April to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society, a cause close to his family’s heart.  Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and Park Place Retail’s charity partner for the year.

One in three people will develop dementia in their lifetime, and around one million people in the UK are currently living with it.  We’re sure most of us know someone who has been affected by this cruel disease.

Henry has been training hard, having covered over 500 km in total training so far and a longest run of 33 km / 20.5 miles.  Henry acknowledges the challenge ahead saying “I’m not a natural running build”, so it’s going to be very tough for him, and any support for this worthy cause would be hugely appreciated.  Please click on the link below to sponsor Henry.
