Park Place Retail are retained by Boots to acquire out of town stores on retail parks across the Midlands (south of Nottingham), South Wales and the South of England.  Boots ideal unit size is a ground floor area of circa 8,000-10,000 sq ft.

Wickes are a leading home improvement, DIY and trade retailer.  They operate from 229 stores.

Park Place Retail are retained to advise on asset management and the acquisition of new stores.  Wickes have active requirements nationwide:-

• 20,000-25,000 sq ft GIA+
• 5,000 sq ft external garden centre and 5,000 sq ft storage compound
• Minimum of 75 parking spaces
• Standalone units, retail parks, trade parks, and new developments considered

Currys plc is the leading electronics retailer in Europe, trading from over 800 stores in 8 countries.

In the UK, the group trades as Currys from over 300 stores, with a market share of 24%.

Park Place Retail are retained to advise Currys on asset managing their store portfolio in the South and West Midlands, involving acquisitions, relocations and disposals.

Halfords is the UK’s leading provider of motoring and cycling products and services, with a portfolio of 430+ retail stores, focusing predominantly in out of town and roadside locations.

Park Place Retail are retained to asset manage approximately 50% of the portfolio which involves the disposal of any surplus properties in Scotland, Wales and half of the UK.

The group has a turnover of £11.4 billion and a pre-tax profit of £923 million, trading from over 4,850 stores in 36 countries.

In addition to its 320 high street stores in the UK, JD trade from over 110 out of town stores.

JD are looking for at least 10 retail park stores in each year, with the following requirements:-

• 6,000-10,000 sq ft on ground floor
• 2,000 sq ft at mezzanine level
• On large retail parks containing other high street retailers
